Product Description Graphite Rigid Felt Graphite rigid felt is a "re-processed" product made from soft felt as the raw material: the soft felt is impregnated with resin or pitch → laid up in multiple layers → cured → carbonized → graphitized. It is this resin-derived carbon matrix that gives it higher density and greater strength, making it self-supporting and machinable(drilling, cutting, grinding, and machining of special-shaped grooves) — though at the expense of some thermal insulation performance, and it can no longer be rolled or folded. Core Applications: 1. High-Temperature Structural Insulation Components Requiring Load-Bearing / Self-Supporting Capability This is where rigid felt clearly outperforms soft felt — wherever a component must both insulate and serve as a structural part, rigid felt is required: · Insulation cylinders, insulation partitions, and heat shields:inner load-bearing structural components in the hot zones of monocrystalline silicon pulling furnaces and polycrystalline silicon ingot casting furnaces · Furnace top / bottom / door insulation components:parts in vacuum sintering furnaces, atmosphere furnaces, brazing furnaces, and hot pressing furnaces that must be independently formed and withstand their own weight or mechanical loads · Hot zone fixing structures:support frameworks that must not collapse or deform at high temperature 2. Special-Shaped Components Requiring Precision Machining 3. High-End Hot Zones with Extremely Stringent Dimensional Stability Requirements 4. High-Temperature Mold Liners and Thermal Barrier Components Specification
